Twerk It, Miley! // RB’s Honda Civic

We’ve all had that car that we’ve bought and told ourselves “this one is staying 100% stock, no modifying, it’s going to be the perfect daily driver”. Well, RB’s 8th gen Civic started out exactly like that. Little things like a roof rack and a fancy little tow hook came soon, but RB was still convinced that this car was “just a daily”. Two months into car ownership and now a new set of coilovers were on the way. There’s an already large import, and modified car scene, in Milwaukee so RB had plenty of outside influence when it came to car modifications. RB’s idea of the perfect daily was soon replaced with thoughts of a head turning, neck breaking, show stopping machine. It’s still his daily, but a much better looking one now that “just coilovers” became “let’s do it all”.

Truth be told, RB has a slight obsession with Miley Cyrus so when it came time to name his car, “Miley” was a no brainer for him. His Civic was treated to a full air ride suspension setup to retain the convenience of not body slamming his fenders on the lips of his brand new J-Lines. Unlike the real life celebrity, RB took his own Miley in a more conservative, “less is more” direction, and we’re very glad he did.

After going to a few car shows without anything to display, RB wanted to make an impression with his build. He has done a mighty fine job of modifying his Civic in a way that it will turn heads and break necks in almost any scenario. If you see him at an event, go talk to him. He’s one of those friendly guys that’s not scared to have a conversation with you. He’s always full of energy and smiles, which makes it really easy to spark up a conversation. For those of us who know RB and Miley, we are are excited about the future direction of Miley, can’t wait to see it next year! #TwerkitMiley
