Vasiliy Dankanich, originally from Ukraine, has owned his daily driven 2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe for roughly 2 years now.“By no means was this car perfect when I bought it, it was 6 different colors and pieces were missing all over the place.” It has been a long journey for Vasiliy to get the car the way that he wants it, but am sure all of you can relate to the idea that a BUILD is never truly be done. There is always something new to aspire for.
The Infiniti G35 is the third generation of the G series that the company produced through the early 2000’s. The model was officially unveiled in June of 2002 and became available in North America in 2003. As a more luxurious option to the 350z’s of the time, Infiniti’s brand gave the interior and exterior styling their own touch, while keeping the venerable VQ35DE as the G’s source of power. (Making a plentiful 298hp from stock).
Vasiliy has no regrets with his decision to go static, “I absolutely love it, from smashing reflectors off the road, to shooting sparks out of the front fenders, even having to take super wide turns and angles to make it down. I wouldn’t want to live any different lifestyle; I love the struggle and challenges of being static.” We couldn’t agree more, it’s definitely a lifestyle choice.
